Overview

The Yellow Jacket Digital Agency, YJDA, is an agency at Baldwin Wallace University, where students get a chance to work for the institution.

My role included following content outlines, capturing live content in a classroom setting, and designing/editing posts. As well as working under graduate students, as digital marketing assistants and reporting to our assigned teams weekly.

Our goal was to increase awareness and engagement on socials for Baldwin Wallace University, and yield of students that committed.


My Responsibility

Content Creation

As a digital marketing assistant, my responsibilities included working under graduate students in teams. I was assigned to work with the education, engineering, and business administration departments.

Our team leads provided us with content plans and ideas for the whole school year. As the creator, we had the authority to propose and/or build on ideas we had during team weekly meetings.

Filming content included capturing classroom settings, club meetings, student/professor interviews, etc.

Content was edited and designed in Canva Pro. Then would be shared with the graduate students according to strict deadlines made in the content plans.

Everything was recorded in a major content database for each department. Such as the content, platform, intended audience, major/brand objectives, hashtags, etc. This was to help our team leads keep track of our work.

    Google Drive

    Google Drive was used to access content plans and/or files needed to create content.

  • Project Management

    Basecamp

    Project management tool used to upload and access content needed for media projects. As well as files and/or docs for weekly meetings.
